Q. How much is the shipping fee?
A. When placing your order, you have the option of choosing the following shipping methods:
---> Standard ($10.95) with an estimated delivery time of 15 business days,
---> XpressPost ($15.95), which is delivered in approximately 4 to 7 business days, with a tracking number.
If you select XpressPost, your package can be tracked by simply entering the item number on our Track Package page, which will be e-mailed to you within 2 days of the package being sent.
Be sure to stock up! Each complete order has the same shipping cost, no matter how many items you include in your order. By ordering additional items in advance, you could save yourself the cost of shipping at a later date.
Every order from Sunrise Meds is typically processed either the same or next business day of the order being placed.
** It is important to note only when selecting Xpresspost shipping, will your package be insured and a tracking number issued. Sunrise cannot be responsible for unclaimed items, or undelivered items that do not have a tracking number. Q. Does the number of products in my order affect the shipping fee?
A. Generally speaking you are not charged extra shipping fees for each individual product in your order. The shipping fee is a one-time charge per order placed, regardless of the quantity of product packages in your order. A single order of one item will have the same shipping cost as an order of ten items. Some products that are heavy will require additional shipping be charged. We will contact you to confirm the cost and it will be at your discretion. Q. What currency is used for prices and shipping fees?
A. All prices are in US dollars. Q. Do I need to pay sales tax on my order?
A. Purchases from outside of Canada (United States, Europe, Asia) will NOT be charged any taxes. If you are ordering from within Canada you will be charged 7% tax on your order, and if you are in the province of Manitoba, you will be charged 13% tax on your order.
Q. How do I pay for my order?
A. We accept Visa and MasterCard. In addition, telephone orders may be paid for with Mastercard or Visa only, or by a mailed check or money order. Q. What is the expected delivery time of my order?
A. If Standard shipping is selected as the desired shipping method, your order should be delivered to your door within 15 business days. If XpressPost is selected as the desired shipping method, your order will be delivered to your door within 4 to 7 business days. Orders outside of the continental United States may experience extended delivery times.
Please keep in mind that there is no mail service in Canada on Saturdays or Sundays, meaning that these are not considered business days. Q. How do I check the status of my shipment?
A. If you select XpressPost as the method of shipping, your order will be processed, and you will be e-mailed a Tracking Number within 2 business days of the order being shipped (make sure to use a valid e-mail address when you place your order).
To track the status of your package, visit our Track Package page, enter your tracking number in the field provided, and click the submit button. Status of your package will be provided by Canada Post. Q. I've purchased from you before. Do I need to enter my credit card number again?
A. Yes. Moneris provides global payment services for our customers, and have leading edge secure services and payment systems. Your information is not stored with them so it is necessary to re-enter your credit information. There are no additional charges for their services, and it is completely secure. Q. How do I inquire if I have a question about products?

A. The Pharmacist shall not accept the return for use or re-use of any portion of any non-prescription medication. You may return non-prescription items in original condition for a refund or credit within 15 days of receiving. Shipping charges can only be refunded if the return is due to our error. All returns must be accompanied by the packing slip. After a return has been received, it will take 1-2 weeks to process. If using a credit card, refunds will be credited to your account. If paying by check or money order, a refund check will be mailed to you. Q. What happens if some or all of my order is damaged or missing when I receive it?
A. If you selected either Xpresspost shipping, please contact us immediately as we may be able to replace the damaged product through the insurance offered by these services. It is important to identify the damaged or missing goods immediately upon receipt of your package. Any lapse in time will detract from our ability to replace your order. Q. Is shipping insurance available with my order?
A. Yes. If you have selected Xpresspost shipping, your package will be covered for damage while in transit. However, any damage occuring to the product after it has been received, is not covered and will not be replaced by Sunrise Meds. Moreover, any damaged products reported to Sunrise Meds 48 hours after delivery, as well, will not be replaced. Q. When will my credit card be charged?
A. When submitting your order, your credit card will be charged for the purchase as soon as you authorize your order. We make every attempt to ensure that your product is shipped within 2 business days. In the rare situation that a product is on back order, we will contact you immediately and inform you of the timeline. You have the option of waiting for the product to come in, canceling your order or substituting for a similar product (and paying for/getting back the difference in price).
